Funny story....i was wearing a heart montor after several fainting episodes

And one night, in the middle of the night, the monitoring company called. I was disoriented and they guy on the phone said "your montor has indicated an event has occured. It is suggested you go to the hospital right now."
I asked what he ment by "event". He said he was not able to give me that information. So i was like, "Im fine....im awake, and talking...so it must not be that big of a deal. I will go when i get up in the morning."
They guy was encouraging me to go, but i didnt.
At 8 am that morning, i got a call from my doctor saying i needed to get to the ER now and he would meet me there. My heart had stopped for 47 seconds.
He was not happy with me. Later that day i had my pacemaker installed at the age of 36. Its funny now. It was scary when he told me and when i got to,the ER and they were waiting for me and hooking me up to machines before i even checked in.
